What is Microblading? Microblading is the application of semi-permanent color into the skin. Using a tool consisting of tiny special needles, pigment is applied to a superficial layer of the skin. This procedure results in the appearance of individual eyebrow hair that lasts for approximately 12-18 months before it completely fades away. Microblading is a semi-permanent procedure, it does NOT last forever. True tattoos are applied to a deeper layer of skin using a machine, which is why they are permanent. Unlike a machine tattoo, microbladed brows fade completely from the skin after a period of time.

Powder / Ombré Eyebrows

Unlike Microblading, the Powder Ombré process creates a soft, powder-filled brow similar to the look of makeup. The tails of the brow are darker and fade into a light start at the beginning of the brow, giving that eye-catching Ombre Makeup effect! iBrowVixen are the best and most experienced Powder Ombré brows experts in San Francisco and Bay Area.

HYBRID BROWS

A Hybrid Brow, or fusion/combo brow is a combination of micropigmentation and microblading. Micropigmentation is a technique done with a digital machine which implants pigment a little deeper in the skin creating a very soft and powdery look after healing is complete.

Nano Brows

Nano brows are a semi-permanent makeup treatment for the eyebrows that creates the look of extra natural volume, fills in sparse patches, and modifies the shape of the arches into your dream brows. It’s a form of cosmetic tattooing – it’s done by opening up the skin and depositing color into it, but it’s not permanent. The results of nano brows fade gradually and will need a color refresher in about 2 years. iBrowVixen is one of the few, but definitely the best Nano Brow Artist in San Francisco and Bay Area. The treatment is performed with an electric device similar to a tattooing machine, which is used to draw strokes that imitate the natural brow hairs between them.
